Didn't read but the OPs first post. My answer is NO! Love it when it is clean, but if you ride it, it don't stay clean for long and shows every little speck of dust. I always say, "never say never", but I don't think would ever buy a black bike again. (However, IMHO, Harley's color selection is not very good. Don't really like any of the new two tone offerings. My all time favorite color was the blue metalflake on my 97 Heritage Classic! A truly beautiful color!)

I personally would not do black again...but then again, every bike that I have owned has been black at one time or another. One time on a poker run,I sat on the wrong bike in the parking lot.It seems like EVERYBODY has a black Street Glide!Harley doesn't give you alot of choices when it comes to color but you can always get it repainted.

A black bike again....you have to give it to me and then I'd sell it.

I liked my Vivid Black Road King Classic a lot. I've always though the looks of a nice clean Black and chrome scoot was hard to beat but it seems that it took more effort more often needed attention to keep it looking that way.

A nice shinny Black Harley always catches my attention but I don't think I would do it again. There are a lot of Black ones out there.

Good luck with you choice.

Had 3 Vivid black HD's Had a few other colors in between. Denim Black is the best of both worlds. It's black if that is what you like and it is EASY to clean if cleaning is what ya don't like. There are more black HD's and for some people that is not cool. I like what I like regardless if nobody has one or everyone does. THat said, I have seen tens of thousands of Harley's and have not seen very many I didnt like. They are all good.... My 2010 Denim Black Street Glide is my all time favorite...So Far

My "09 Heritage is BLACK and at the H-D showroom floor, I could not take my eye offen it. Helped that it fit me as it were custom made for me & being an owner of black vehicles in the past, I know "black problems," & I do enjoy spending whatever time & $ it takes to try to keep the better than new condition. I think black is hard to beat & yes I would do it again.
