My daughters were about 5. They listened very well, and followed directions perfectly. At age 6, we hit the highways and interstates. Now they want to take the HD EVERYWHERE, even to the mailbox. Couldn't be happier!

Oldest son was 8, youngest was 7. Oldest is now 13 and loves to ride but he is also 6'0 tall and shows no sign of stopping. Not sure he will be too fun to haul around once he hits 6'2 or so.

My 2 daughters start riding with me at 9 & 15, they really don't love to ride but occasionally to some interesting place they will ride with me.We can take only one of em with us cause Mom can't handle a passenger on her bike.

My two daughters started riding with me at ages 8 and 10. When the oldest was 18, she rode her little 883 to Sturgis and back from Central Texas. Something over 2000 miles!

Good news to hear. My son just turned 7 and I cant wait for him to go riding with me. Last week, my dealer had a xxs 3/4 helmet on sale for $49. Picked it up and put the headset that came with the bike in it. Going to put the Kury adustable floorboard pegs on it so he feet can touch the pegs. I think legally a passengers feet must touch the pegs, but cant verify that anywhere. I think next summer, we are going to take our first father/son road trip for a couple days. Think it will be cool just the 2 of us taking a road trip.
