Default What's the difference?

What makes the phase 6 different from the previous LED headlights?

Take a look at the JW/Truck Lite comparison thread. It gives all the details. But in a nutshell 6 LEDs light up on low beam instead of 5 and the optics have been improved.

Default LED vs. HID

Does anyone know if there are any special installation issues with either the LED or HID? I would imagine the LEDs are straight plug-ins. In automotive applications, there's a circuit built in to the system that regulates the system(overpowering an LED will make it basically burst into flames - did it developing an interior LED system for Ford).

Interested to hear installation stories.

Pretty simple. Remove the trim rings, unplug the stock lamps, plug in the LED lamps, replace the trim rings, ride.

The brown truck will be delivering the Kury phase 6 Truck Lite headlight along with the l.e.d. trim ring. I also ordered H.I.D. passing lamps from Hemrickperformance.com. Working a ton of overtime right now but hope to install them all with the next two weeks. Will definately post some pics so others who haven't purchased these lights might want to consider. I've appreciated all the pics and comments etc that others have made that's for sure.

E-code headlamps are for use in germany and france. do not get the type made for england, those guys ride on the wrong side of the road. hella and cibie both make great all glass headlights that put out a much crisper light. that's my observation anyway.
I've been running the Hella E-code headlamps for 2½ years and they are a big improvement over stock. I also installed the Hella 80-100W bulbs, which makes them work even better. I think this combo is the best bang-for-the-buck lighting upgrade available.
