New windshield, 10" Windvest - my thoughts
2010 RG Custom, the bike you see below. After asking around and doing research on here and other websites, I decided to go with a 10" Windvest.
I'm 6'1ish, and I wanted to find the lowest functional windshield possible. I know, I know, not ideal, but that's what I wanted. The 10" is level with my chin, about 1 or 2" shorter than it probably should be.
It works ok, but does not stop all the wind in the face at highway speeds, but it helps. I'm ok with that as this is my first bagger, and I rode without a windshield and fairing for many, many years.
I figured I'd post my thoughts because when I was trying to decide, I read as many opinions as possible.

I'm 6'3"- put a Sidekick Seat on which lowers you 3", and wasn't going to push my luck w/a 10".
