Took a new RG Ultra out for a test ride today. Loved the ride compared to my 2007. The suspension is much tighter and the 103 pulls much harder than my 96 (stage 1).

The color of the new bike was AWESOME. It's root beer brown metal flake. The flake is really big and just pops in the sun.

They offered me 13K for my 07 with 33K miles. I'm really tempted to strip off all the extras on my bike and make the trade.

I'll post picks if I make the deal later this week.

I sat on one the other day at my local dealer. Nice bike. Will try to test ride one, but will prob keep my 09.

 

Dude, whatever you can get off your old bike and put on the new one "do it".......All that chrome doesn't give you more trade value anyway.

I test drove one yesterday too. First time I drove a shark nose. Certainly is a very nice bike. Handled good and I liked the 103 but I didn't get off the bike thinking I gotta have one of those. Might be a good change of pace from the regular UC but I think I would like the Ultra Limited just fine too. They offered me $11500 for my 2005 UC with almost 19000 miles on it.

 

Damn!! I wish ya'll would quit talking about riding that new RoadGlide Ultra!!! I'm stuck at the house for a couple of weeks (med change) and can't get to a dealer!! All I can do is read about everyone's experiences! I'm having terrible withdrawals. I've wanted a 'Sharknose' for a while and all of this talk about it is depressing!! All I’m doing is sitting here scheming & conniving on how to get my hands on one!!! LOL!!

Seriously, from what I've read and seen it seems to be THE bright spot in H-D's lineup this year. Am betting they ain’t going to be hid in the back rows of show rooms with discounted price tags on them!

Is that the Merlot Sunglow? It looked a bit brown to me too, but I saw it indoors under harsh lighting.
