Default have you set your pin number yet?

A while back I set my pin for my " smart security system". Well I tried it yesterday.
After 3 trys ( finally read the instructions ) it worked just fine.
This way I dont need to take my second fob on out trip to Sturgis. I have wifes back up key on my key chain and we are good to go.

Set mine when I first got the bike, of course that is because I only have 1 fob, reminds me that I still need to get a spare that I said I was going to do right after I got the bike

You could take the battery out of your spare fob and keep it in your tourpak.

i use the wallet card that has instructions and a place to write your code, its in the back of the manuel somewhere.easier than carrying extra fobs and batteries.

I set mine, but forgot what I set it to...so I need to get the manual out and run thru the setup to see what I picked.

We have the key rack near the garage door and it must be near enough that the bike senses it. I jumped on the bike one day to go run and errand, did my deal and went to start the bike and yep........the fob is still on the key rack at home. So there I am in the parking lot with the instructions out mashing button, lights flashing, etc. finally got it going, I haven't forgotten the key since.

Nope...the code is still there. Buddy of mine lost his fob and didn't remember his code. A local shop hooked him up with new fobs, a new security module (required) and 2 hours of labor to program it. Know your code...
