I want a C&C solo seat /w rider backrest for my 07 Ultra. Just thinking about keeping it simple (mercedes leather w/ red stitching) but wanted to solicit suggestions from fellow forum members. Thoughts and suggestions welcomed and appreciated : )

I don't have a pic of mine but I too thought long about this. In the end, since I wasn't sure still of the final paint job I went simple. All black ostrich, no pattern or contrast stictch, other than some matching black leather panels between the seat panels. if you are at your final destination in regards to paint you definitely should think about doing something to set it off.

 

I got the solo w/backrest in plain leather with red stitching and it looks outstanding. So whatever you choose I'm sure you will be pleased with it.

A couple of weeks ago I received my C&C Sport tour in black smooth leather with blue tribal flame stitching. I was going to go with the Mercedes leather, but Chuck suggested that I might prefer the smooth if I was going to get stitching. After seeing the photos that Chuck sent, I agreed with him. Sorry, but I don't have any photos to share yet.

FWIW, Chuck is absolutely great to work with!

 

I have the solo with mercedes leather...like the simplicity of plain black and love the seat itself. Returned from a 2800 mi ride a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the saddle comfort.

 

I no longer have this one but this is what a plain leather looks like.
