Default Need help wiring bars

I am putting Wild 1's 575 on my 2009 Electra Glide Standard and as I starting to take apart my hand controls to run the wires internally (which you have to do on the 575's) I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disconnect all the pins from the end plug on the hand controls (left, right, and TBW). I found some pics here: http://www.kenandjudy.us/Motorcycles...new_page_1.htm but his bike is older and the plugs are different (mine are black and the metal prongs/pins are not female but male).

Anyone know how to get the black plugs off so that I can run the wires internally?

Thanks!

Harley has a spacial tool, but I used a paper clip. Looking in side the plug you want to remove, there is a small hole beside every pin. Straighten out the paper clip and insert it in the little hole. As you push down on the clip, pull the wire out the bottom. It should pull right out. Be sure to draw a diagram of the plugs of pin positions and color code of the wires. If you get them the wrong hole, they no workie. Also besure you debur the inside of your bars where the wire go in. At this stage, you don't want to cut one of them. Useing a little vasoline helps them slide around the bends in the bars too.

Good luck and enjoy the new bars.
