Only once a few years back on my 99 Roadking. It was most likely the power commander 3 that was on it. Took it off and never had a problem again so I can't say it was the Harley's fault.

Never. And you might look at my visited maps as a guide to how much my motorcycle is ridden.

14,000 and never stranded. I've never even had any warranty work done.

98 egc, coil went out. Stalled on me once, restarted 5 minutes later restarted and good for a month. Was going for a ride and wouldn't start, assumed crank sensor. Replaced with a spare and started right away and went for a ride and died after 10 minutes. Ohm'd coil and it was bad after 35k miles.

My current is the only bike that has required a tow. I've had problems with others, but was always able to cobble it together enough to get somewhere to affect a more permanent fix. The fuel injectors went bad, got towed home. Got it to the dealer the next morning, they found and fixed the problem, under warranty, in about an hour.

1995 Ultra
Stranded when the rear Y pipe broke somwhere in Wyoming coming back from Sturgis.
Stranded when the dealer installed rear tire wore through the improperly installed rear brake line.

2001 Ultra
Stranded when the ECM crapped out
Stranded when the stator failed.
Stranded when the stator failed.
Stranded when the stator failed. (These are NOT reprints)
Stranded when the belt broke. (Ok, it was in my driveway, but I was pulling out to go on a trip)

That's all I can remember for now.
