I think I will move to all redline oils when the next oil change rolls around. Currently
M1 user with no complaints thus far after two years and 11,000 miles.

Then everyone convinced me to try Mobil I 20/50 Motorcycle oil prior to a trip where it gets hot. Said it was cheaper and better. That evo started leaking after less than 300 miles on the Mobil I and was making a lot of extra lifter noise. My buddy gave me some Amsoil in the middle of the trip and I switched the oil. Motor quieted back down and before I got back home, the leaks stopped. I never looked back and I have gotton 100k trouble free miles on Amsoil motors since. Every motor is different I guess.
Yep, had the same experience with Mobil 1 and went back to Amsoil 20-50. The one thing I can say for Amsoil, I ran it for over 50K on my Roadking. I am very hard on bikes and it's been a great oil.
I was running the bike though Montana at 95+ for hours in 85+ degrees. After a few days of that; the bike started running like crap. Turned out that the heat and vibration cracked my intake manifold and I ended up frying the rear piston. First year fuel injection and the intake manifolds were weak. When I pulled the motor down, we were amazed at what little wear there was to the motor as a whole and still run Amsoil in both bikes to this day. It a testament on how well the really lubricates and protects against wear.

If you only had 50k on it, there shouldn't have been too much wear anyway, providing the oil was changed on time, and I suspect that you are as **** about it as I am.
As my old mentor used to say, "Oil is cheaper than parts".
