Amsoil experience

Used Amsoil in my previous two bikes for well over 70K miles with no issues. On my 13 LTD I switched to Amsoil 20w50 at the 1K service- let the noise begin! This thing sounded like a sewing machine on steroids. Last weekend switched to Redline in all
3 holes (cavity specific grades) and NOW it's back to sounding like a Harley instead of a Singer. Not bad mouthing Amsoil, as the oil came out fairly clean and no metal on the drain plugs at 4,000 miles. Sticking with Redline for now!

Still waiting for Dave to tell us what weight oil he was running. I have run Amsoil in my race bikes, street bikes, cars and trucks for years without any concern. Every time I sent in a sample for analysis everything checked out fine. I'm curious to see if there was some other factor that came into play or is Dave is secretely a rep for Syn3 oil...lol.

Whilst I do LIKE the protection of the Amsohhh...sometimes that rattling makes me feel like I'm back on an old Limey Bonneville or something. I'm SO wanting to try the Redline in the tranny at least; for the smoother shifting and easy neutral. I dunno what it will do in the engine, but I'd like to get the quiet back with a proven and safe product.
Where do we find it cheap?

I have used Amsoil on my road king for two years. I just sold it and got me a softail deluxe and just changed the oil with Amsoil. I never had a problem with it. But I always have put an oil additive called TUFOIL in my road king and now in the deluxe. I put it in all my vehicles. It's the slickest stuff to lubricate engines with. The only one to be in the book of Guinness World Records.

I also have been using Amsoil for many years. I do the 20w50 in the engine and primary and the 75w110 severe gear in the tranny. No problems so far.
