That just goes to show you how good this place is. Always good advice and short cuts to boot.

Best upgrade yu can make in my opinion. Very easy grinding housing, and totally changed feel of engine. At 44k mi my comp was trash, engine vibration, jerky starts, etc. If you ain't done it yet....do it.

Been there and done that. Had the compensator go south on my 09 RK Standard at 25K. Traded it for a 2010 Limited. Does anyone know if the 103 has a SE compensator or not. I read somewhere that both the 103 and 110's have built in compression releases. If I have to face that issue again I want to order the SE compensator ahead of time. When it happened to me they told me at least 10 days to get one so I had it replaced with a stock 96 one.

Default SE compensator in 2011 touring models

I saw this was one of the changes in the 2011 touring models and bought one not long after i bought the new bike so decided it had to go on. I think CVO models and the trike only got them before 2011. This was one of the great parts i ordered after reading info on this site. I need to be careful now though i'm starting to accumulate an awful lot of parts from spending time reading on this forum.
