Default No EG Standard for 2011?

I did not see an Electra Glide Standard (FLHT) in the 2011 lineup, maybe I missed it?

I am pretty sure the FLHT model went away last year with the 2010 model year...

2009 was the last year for the Electra Glide Standard.

I have often heard that the SG was the original replacement for the EG standard. Any truth to that ???

I don't see how. It costs the same as the EG Classic. The Standard was pretty stripped down compared to the SG.

And the Street Glide is pretty much stripped down compared to the Classic. Yet people line up to pay more for less.

I have an 05 FLHT and love it. The standard was a great bike for those looking at the touring comfort and handling offered by the classic, but w/out the trunk, and audio. No biggie, radios aren't hard to install, and if you go aftermarket aren't expensive either. You get the standard ride height, seat, and windsheild, unlike the street glide. Put a sony or kenwood in it, strap a bag down on the passenger seat, and tour in all day comfort at a great price.
