I have a 09 FLHT. I haven't done the recall yet. Why should I? If a frontal or side or whatever, the bike is screwed anyway, and myself included. Im looking and deciding on a new bike. Not sure on 2010 or 2011. Looking at Ultras tourers or Road glide ultra

If these work I am hoping they can be trimed or something to work on an 08.

I have non-vented lowers on my 09 RG and will need to see if there is enough space for it to snap over the crash bar. Nothing mentioned on the website that it won't fit w/ them on. So with my tank mount recall done I may be facing two issues.

It looks like a somewhat flat hunk of black semi-flexible plastic so I bet it's easy to overcome any misplacement of the smaller clip doodad that clicks onto the tank mount - maybe something simple to stick it's upper section to the frame itself or perhaps the lower part of the fairing.

Cut the top mounts off and silicone the bottom one to the bike.

These are prolly meant as a replacement for the deflector that used to come mounted at the bottom of the neck.

So am I to imply that even with the CVO bike having lowers, there is still a buffeting issue?
