I like them both, they both look good, but I like the leather more, just flows with the bike better

 

From a pure looks aspect on a Road King Classic that still has chrome spokes and all the trimmings the Leather look bags just cannot be beat. They look well, classic.

Once you start the mods, like different non spoke wheels, fender changes, trendy stretches bags and rear fender, fillers and 2 into 1 pipes then the hard bags look better.

I have had all the different factory HD bags for a RK, classic, custom, hard and police hard. Classic had locks. From a function standpoint, weather, security and ease of use the hard bags are better.

 

I have leather bags i run in summer locally because I like the look.



Hard bags go on most all winter and for trips because they lock, hold more, watertight and easier to use with tourpack.
