The seat I currently have is the Tallboy and its been the best so far especially because it sits back a little more than the rest I have tried but Im still getting tailbone pain after long rides.

Need help from you guys to decide if I should try out the Mustang Touring Seat PN 76033 link below.

I like the look of it, I've heard good things about them but Not sure if its going to be that much more comfortable?

Also can you please confirm....

1. The Mustangs will work with Harley Non Adjustable Back Rest
2. How it sits compared to the Tallboy

Are you sold on the Mustang as your only option? Have you considered the Le Pera Maverick DDL seat? Put one on my 09' Ultra and like it a lot. Don't let the list price bother you I got mine for $350 on E-bay

I dont think the Lapera Maverick doesnt accept the stock Harley Back Rest does it?

 

If your talking about a drivers back rest, then no, it won't. I must have misunderstood your first post. I thought you meant the passenger back rest. The Maverick won't except any kind of driver back rest. Sorry

But the DDL sits so high on your back you may not need the driver backrest. This is the seat I am going to go with but the best price I have found so far is $427 on Ebay....still searching.

 

No worries appreciate the feedback! Yeah I was talking about the Rider Backrest. The Mustang is one of the few that works with the factory Harley Backrest.

i will keep the Maverick in mind.

jasnusc, This a valid point ncbeast brought up. It's true and possible you may not need the back rest option. I'm guessing by your site handle and your location given, your an LA local. Le Pera is in N Hollywood, http://lepera.com/ Can't loose much by going over there and sit one, to see. Just a thought.

ncbeast, don't give up. I watched the seat I got cycle 3 or 4 times before I got it. It was $425 when I first saw it. Price dropped with each relisting, when it hit $350 I bought it. E-bay is a great source of deals, if you have the time to look and wait. Generally if you need or want something right now today, then you best shop elsewhere.
