Thats all I listen to. They sounded a lot better with the stock speakers. Not louder but better.

Do those speakers use the factory connectors to plug in or do you have to cut the wires and splice new wires on?

A more accurate way to check the phase is to take a 9 volt battery and touch the small terminal on the battery (+) to the positive on the speaker and the negative on the battery to the negative on the speaker. Touch only for a second though, just long enough to see which way the speaker cone moves. It should move toward the rider. Then do the same on the other speaker. It doesn't make that much difference if they move the wrong way but what is very important is that they both move the same way.

If the phase is correct and the back of the speaker is sealed from the front (and you have checked and set your bass and treble settings) the speakers just sound like they do and outside of installing an amp, there's not much you can do about it. I personally haven't heard those particular speakers but I would think the size difference alone should have a lot better bass response.
