Default clutch cable with WO575 Chubbys

I have an after market clutch cable on my 08 Ultra Classic that my indy put on when installing my new wild 1 WO575 chubbys. This cable has my head spinning trying to adjust. of course I pulled in clutch and pop and then no tension. so off comes the tranny cover to readjust the ball and ramp. my question is with the WO575 which is about 2.5" pull back from stock what size cable 2 inches or 4". I'm looking for a Harley simple black cable. Also best place to buy. Will go with an identical aftermarket.
I'm a newbie with the wrench learning as I go so Thanks for the help.

I used my stock clutch cable with my 575's, no problems at all.
Just rerouted it to the inside of the frame uprights, and it fits fine and works fine.

I have the 12.5" Chubby Wild1 and used 6" over and it is actually a little long, yours are 10" so I think 2" longer or reroute stock like mentioned above

Your aftermarket cable is probably a Barnett.
The stock cable is like 62.25 inches or something. If you have to replace your cable (cause it broke maybe), get a +4 cable which would be 66.25 or whatever. They run around 50-60 bucks at your local American Biker shop or you can order it online. I've installed several 575's and always used a +4. You can hide any extra in the batwing so all good. Plus having it a little longer will give you more options down the road if you want a different set of bars.

Also, you adjust the clutch cable using the adjustment nuts in the middle of the cable. Not the Ball and Ramp. To adjust the clutch itself (not the cable) you would pull the derby cover and follow the procedure outlined in the service manual.

If you are replacing the cable, Yes, you are going to have to open the tranny side cover.

Thanks guys will go with the +4. Also thanks IP the problem with the ball and ramp I pulled in the clutch and heard pop under the tranny cover, so I'm assuming it poped out. Starting from scratch would be good idea new cable even going to change the ball and ramp with the Aim Light Force B&R since I have to open it. I will post review.

I started with a +4. It was a bit too long, the cable kinked, and separated from the adjuster. Replaced it with a +2, which is a little too short, but works with some different routing. +3 would be perfect.

Installed my WO575 bars last week. Used a +4 clutch cable from Drag Specialties. Harley dealer ordered it. Cost me $ 47.
