I realize that this will be subjective, depending upon the rider and engine mods, but I'm curious. About how long are you guys going on your stock clutch? I started feeling a little slippage yesterday. Only have 14,500 on my 09. Wondering if it just need to be adjusted. I've had the bike to the dealer for it's 1k, 5k and 10k service.

43K on my Wide Glide and clutch is fine, 34K on my Ultra and clutch is fine. I would check the adjustment for sure, unless you are constantly doing burnouts or drag racing...

Your clutch will go round the clock unless you spend a lot of time drag racing it! Yours probably just needs adjustment, which is simple enough. Requires only simple tools, but its worth getting the workshop manual for your bike if you are not sure. You will cover the cost of it just by adjusting your own clutch instead of the dealer.

If your bike is under warranty, give them a call to see if it is covered.

79k miles on mine and I have only had to adjust it once due to slippage.

Rode the bike up to the dealer at lunch. They told me to leave it. Seems that the Clutch cable is freezing or binding, not allowing the clutch to fully release. Said they'd replace the cable and inspect the clutch. Told me don't worry about it, it would be a warranty repair. For the record, I don't race my bike or do smoky burnouts. That's why I bought the SG and not another Crotch rocket. I'm trying to slow down and enjoy the ride.

They replaced the clutch cable under warranty. Feels like a brand new bike.
