Cool Seat heat, or no?

Question for you that have those expensive azz aftermarket sleek, cool dude seats.
Had my bike almost 2 months now and have put about 2700 miles on her (loved every second!)
It's time to start "tweeking" her to my likes, and I've been searching the archives about comfort on touring seats. Taking a hard long look at the Corbin solo with a backrest, and it got me to wondering...
Have any of you guys spent those big bucks on the saddle and wished that you'd gone full broke and got the heat for the cooler/cold months?
I plan on riding well into the fall...how many more weeks do you guys get by keepin' those cheeks toasty? Is it worth the extra expense in your opinion? Not get heat and wished you had?
What say you?
Just tryin' to think ahead a little, but I've got a little sticker shock!

As always, thanks in advance!

Ha, I'd like to know too altho I already bit the bullet and had MCC INSTALL THE DELUXE 2 stage heated seats front and rear on my Ultra last week. Its been close to 100 all week so I don't see the opportunity to use them anytime soon, but the boss had to have them. Last month we went from 35 deg at Donner Pass to 100 deg a couple days later rolling into New Mexico so you never know.

I have the HD heated seat. I love it. Makes a difference when the fall comes. Wife rides with me well into November. Add heated grips and your good to go.

Had two BMW's with heated seats and now my Ultra Classic with MCC heated seats. Never have another bike without them. I live in New England and ride 11 months out of the year. I couldn't otherwise.

I do not have a heated seat on my bike. The Ultra Limited does come with heated grips and I have been pleasantly surprised and how NICE they are when it is raining and chilly here. (Yes I am spoiled, when it hits the 60s it's cold, above 85 it's HOT). After the hand grip experience I am thinking about adding the heated seat later. If I could do it I would. We may as well cruise in comfort and style.

I have the Corbin Solo with the Heat Option ... LOVE It !! I was on the fence about it when I ordered it but you will not regret it... If you have Corbin install it from the beginning it is covered by the Lifetime Warranty for Components.

I just bought a Russell Day Long saddle and got the heated option. Some folks my question that, since I live in Texas but we actually can ride all but a few days a year down here. But it does get plenty cold enough that the seat will be a nice touch on those cool mornings going to work.

A lot of people swear by heated gear, so talk to folks that have both and see which might fit your riding habits the best.

We were riding through Germany June last summer, in 90+ heat, with a few BMWs. One rider noticed a warning light on his dash - his wife had turned the seat heater on! She just said she was nice and toasty warm, thanks. Perhaps we should all have heaters, for that moment of madness!
