Default Looking at going solo

I have a 07 Street Glide and was looking at getting a solo seat, 2 questions.
1. Who makes a good solo seat that sits you back a little
2. I noticed some clear tap on my fender under the full seat. What is the best way to remove it? It will show with the solo seat on.

Mustang solo and you'll probably have to run a full bib to cover the skuffed paint. Check their site

For short rides the HD Brawler puts you back a few inches, looks great but has limited lower back support.

I have the Mustang Vintage Solo with the rider backrest. And the 13.5" passenger pillion. I have only put about 10 miles on it so far, the wife has not ridden on the pillion yet. But I KNOW she'll love it! LOL So far I like the Solo allot too! I'll put some serious miles on it the first weekend of August. About a 1000 from the KC area to Indianapolis and back.
The quality and fit of the Mustang is great. I think it does sit you back just a bit, but can't tell for sure... sorry.

C&C makes a nice solo seat, sets you down and back , noticably. Pretty firm, I like mine

I am looking real hard at a Mustang Solo with backrest. So far seems to be the winner for me.

Brawler seat, once you get used to it makes a whole different bike. Lower center of gravity, back further, etc.. It's not for everyone. At first I hated it, now It feels weird sitting on a soft cushy seat.

If I was to do it over I would probably get the C&C solo though. Gives you the option for a backrest, more cushion etc..

On the same token, you can pick up used/like new brawler seats for around 200 bucks on fleabay and on the for sale sections here.

I rode a Corbin Classic solo for 5 years and loved it. I just put a C & C solo on my EGC this month. Corbin is about $175 more and if I had to do it again I would spend the money. C&C is a very nice quality made seat but it is 2 inches narrower than the Corbin and in my opinion sets you a little closer than the Corbin. I am 6 ft. tall and would like to be back a bit more.

Brawler seat for looks, not comfort!

Mustang vintage solo seat is very comfortable. Doesn't have the low profile "cool" look of some of the other ones, but you can ride all day on it and not have your butt feel like it's up into your arm pits.

See attachment.
