I've had hog tunes now J and M 7.25's...I have yet to have a set of speakers that have any bass whatsoever. Loud, clear crisp yes.....but where is the bass?
Yes I've turned up my bass on my radio. It still has no bass...
The guy who invents a mini bass tube is going to make a few bucks!

Well, this thread went crazy. Not real sure bout other speakers, dont really care,I was stating my opinion on the BOOM speakers. Not really in to extremely loud music that makes my ears bleed or bass that shakes the car next to me,I grew out of that stage years back and I have a little hearing loss to go with it.NOW for those of you that are interested in the BOOM speakers. They sound really good and they are so much more clear than the factory ones. Easy install,no amp needed, and they look good.

Welcome to the forums.. might as well get used to that. If you post about BOOM speakers, the same people will tell you how great the J&M speakers or Hogtunes are. If you post about the J&S jack, the same people almost every time will tell you how great the Pitbull jack is. And on and on and on......

Dont take offense to this post im just stating MY OPINION. I have the biketronics speakers with no amp. I looked at the BOOM speakers and thought the magnet was tiny so I went with the biketronics which I like and can hear at highway speeds 90 mph next to my riding partners ultra classic with Vance Hines true duals with no baffles. Again this is only MY OPINION

I put the Boom Audio speakers in my Electra Glide. I agree with the original poster on this, money well spent. They are very clear and crisp. One other thing I have noticed is they seem to drown out the low speed valve train noises without raising the volume.
