Hey All,
Anyone have any ideas on how to brighten up the lights on the dash?
I have an '06 Street Glide - seems I can hardly see the guages at night.
Is there a way to brighten them up?

Yeah, I know, I need glasses. . . but, aside from that. . . .

My problem on my 2008 is seeing the hi-beam indicator lamp during daylight hours...

yes, I do run my hi-beams (and aux spots) during the daytime...

Try removing the bulb's and cleaning them. Or You may want to replace them , which is what I would do. Not expensive.

Superbrightleds work well:

I use the WLED-xHP5 in red for the small gauges; big improvement over the stock bulbs.

The Superbrights are the way to go. But if you don't have red you need the ones that say they are warm white. That more closely matches the color of the incandescent bulb.

Carl have you experimented between the WLED-xHP5 and the WLED-x5? Wondered if there was a significant difference?

The xHP5 is reportedly much brighter than the x5. See reply 47 in this thread from another forum:

http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=22616.45

The reply is: "The RHP5 is much brighter. 8500 mcd for the RHP5 vs 1400 mcd for the R5."

I have the spun aluminum gauges used on the CVO bikes so I relied on the information in the link above and ordered the WLED-RHP5 led's. Huge improvement over the OEM bulbs.

I haven't put the LEDs in the bike yet, but I did put them in my '85 930 and it made a huge difference. The old incadescents were about shot i think. I had to run them at full power in order to effectively see the lights. Now they're at about half on the rheostat. In addition, the switch which used to get warm now stays cool. The next time i have to open the fairing they're going in the bike too.
