If you check this chart from their website, the x5 in white (three different versions) provide 10-12 lumens depending on the white selected. The white HP5 provides 40 lumens:

10-12 lumens versus 40 lumens is a pretty significant difference.

I went with white in my speedo and tach. The problem with going with white is finding the same type of white for the smaller guages. I have 2 different sets of white superbright leds in my tool box.

Those blue gauge lights look nice! How do you change the bulbs in the gauges? Is it easy, cause besides taking my fairing off, I'm pretty mechanically retarded!

Dump the stock gauges and go with Dakota Digitals!

The small guages are real easy to do. It is more work just getting the fairing cap off. The plug and buld comes right out of the guages.

Honestly I didn't realize you were supposed to look at your gauges.

Would luv to switch over to the dakota digitals.
