Iclick makes a good point. Do not use a synthetic in the primary.

just an 07 stage one street glide. I will double, triple check the adjust and cable tension. Using ATF already. Does not sound as if I need the heavy spring. I guess if unable to rid the problem I may need to remove and inspect the plates, maybe the previous owner did not service or was hard on the clutch, who knows

Well finally got around to installing the SE clutch spring, slippage gone. I guess the original diaphragm spring was worn out. CLutch feels nice and smooth now. It is harder to pull but after about 3 minutes I didn't even notice it. None of the local dealers had the older version spring. Love it when a plan comes together.
