Street Glide/Touring Highway Pegs who got what and why
#11
I'm a 32" inseam with size 12 W boots and I like mine low so I can use them as "extended floorboards".
I can't stand those mounted high like I see most people have.
These are old pictures from my '08 and I now have them about 1 inch higher than in these pictures. But you'll get the idea.
Here they are now:

Hey great post! Thanks for the Pics. I got it now. As I said I set mine up on the top bar (horizontal) portion of the engine guard with about half the peg hanging outside the upright part of the guard (didnt want them hanging out there), especially when pulling in the garage.
I just took it off for this summer.
Do you have any pictures of your setup? I'm having trouble visualizing it.

Question 1)
No, the Lowers are only held on with three bolts on each one.
2 inside the glove boxes and 1 clamp on the bottom.
Takes about fives minutes to take them off after you've done it once.
They make a quick detachable kit for like $100 but you don't need it.
Question 2)
You need to have like a "Photobucket Account" (or similar) and store you pictures on the internet with a web address.
It will automaticly give you an "img code" to use.
Then you just copy and paste that code into the message and it shows up automatic.

I like mine so I can either put my heels on the floorboards and rest the ***** of my feet against them or, put my feet all the way up on them to really stretch out. I like the flexibility of being able to shift between a few positions on really long runs to keep from getting to weary. I used the HD long adjustables with a pretty basic pair of rubber HD pegs. It took me about a half-dozen rides to get them right where I wanted them.

Here's an alternative set up that i went with. It allows you to do away with the engine guard if you so wish. http://store.fatbaggers.com/chfbijapefor.html
