I was just reading up in the manual for you on this and it talks about within the first 100 miles the pads set up making it sounds as though one could expect a little variance in lever feel but I know mine actually felt like it always has, it was never as spongy as yours sounds.

If your fluid level is right and you have enough miles to put some wear on the brakes then oddly maybe it needs it's brakes checked back at the dealer?

Stranger things have occurred to new bikes needing something corrected on them! If it's has you say, I wouldn't be riding it till I got it checked out, good luck!

Take it to the dealer. That's what the warranty is for.
