Manual says should be in 6th gear at 55 is this right?

Manual says should be in 6th gear at 55 is this right?
I was looking at my manual and it say’s that I should be in 6th gear at 55. I do not understand this, to me this seams to slow of speed to be in that gear but the Harley manual say’s to.

My 09 about 63 can use 6th gear my 08 EGS never used 6th unless above 70

I think it's best to let the sound a feel of your motor dictate your gear,,, my '10 Road King doesn't like being in 6th unless I am at 70 +

I leave mine in 5th all the way up to 80 or 90...but then again I don't have a 6th!

Same with my '07 street glide... she don't like 6th until we are moving at 70...
