sounds like a good deal to me, but if your happy with the 06 I'd keep it. I wouldn't consider trading mine for nothing though.

 

Take the deal and run. 06s will not be as marketable down the line as the 07s with the 6speed & larger engine. $2500 does not buy much these days but it will buy you a brand new 07 Harley Street Glide.

 

$2500 will do alot to an 06. Tough decision to make, but I think I would sink the $$$ into the 06.

 

nahhhh- wouldnt be worth it to me. if youre trying to justify saving the 10K mile service fee- will you be asking peoples opinions in 07 if you should trade your 07 w/8600 miles for an 08 with $3500? LOL

seriously- even with 1600 miles on my 06 RKC, i wouldnt trade up to an 07 for as little as $1K. i love my 06- its EXACTLY what i wanted (kinda like the old card game 'go fish'!) and im not 100% sold on the new set up.

 

I am curious about something. What kind of fee are ya'll talking about for a 10,000 mile service? I do my own but was just wondering how much some of the stealers stick you for.

 

so how much is sales tax in your area and dmv fees.... here in CA both would add about 10% to the cost.... so a 17K bike = $1700 in sales tax and dmv fees..

 

around 450.00.

 

around $200.00. 5.6 %sales tax and then dmv charge.

 

you don't pay sales tax on the price of the bike??? 5.6% of 17K = $920 then dmv fees???
