I have a Corbin dual touring seat on my 09 streetglide and have over 11k on the seat in a little over a year and love the seat and it works really well for me. If you have not ordered your seat yet Tri county HD in Ohio offers or did offer a 20% discount off on Corbins seats last year.

Good Luck!

Just did 1000 miles in 24 hours on mine; it's great for comfort. Cutom ordered direct from Corbin with leather of my choice at no additional charge. I like the looks of the classic solo.

Any chance of you coming to CA??? make a Vac out of it..

Corbin is in Hollister Ca - I am about 90 min away - three HD since 96 - Corbins on ALL of them. I am 5'6" and now ride a FLHTCI - stock shocks. Corbin has a Ride in appoitment - you call make an appoitment... arrive at 8am - meet with Your seat builder... talk about what YOU want and he starts to work... as the seat takes shape... you have MANY fittings with you on the bike - many, test rides - talk some more.

Feels nice here

not quite right there

too close to bars??

too far away from bars??

wife is not happy..

ALL these are worked on THEN -

After and only After YOU say... Now thats Perfect..

The seat is covered (anyway you like)

and off you go.. All in the same day... as long as it takes

all this and NOT a penny more than if you called from WA and ordered a seat and had it shipped to you..

This is the ONLY way to get a custom seat made to fit YOUR body..

If you do a search on Corbin here on the forum.. you will find a LOVE it / Hate it
seat..

Its really up to you..

I just got back from a 28 state - 7500 mile ride.. I felt great and so did the wife..

I would ride on NOTHING else..

Iam lucky to be this close..

check it out.. come to CA and enjoy the ride down the coast... get your seat made and head back..

Probably more comfortable for the passenger anyway by a little bit.

Looks wise, the solo(without the pillion) blows it away!!

I put about 40k miles on a Dual Tour and it was great from the first ride. If it broke in, I never knew the difference. I now have the Classic Solo and Touring pillion. Have not taken a passenger on the pillion but the Solo is great and I think maybe slightly softer than the old Dual Tourer. Both are very comfortable to me and the firmness has never been a problem.

Surprisingly comfortable for as firm as it is.

I had a Corbin Dual Tour on my Ultra, and it is a very nice seat. Well made, and comfortable... well for me. The wife didn't like it so much.

Maybe it's because she's not very heavy at all, but she felt it was too firm, and it also sat too low for her.

I ended up with a Russell, and could not be happier.

If anyone wants a smoking deal on a used Corbin made to Tallboy specs that will fit an 09 and up touring bike, send me a PM.

I have one (heated) on my '04 RK Custom. Wife likes it, me too. Try Dennis Kirk, they have the Corbin's on clearence a lot. I recommend the backrest also.
