Default pc-v

stopped at the dealer on way home from work tonight to see if i could get my cruise enabled... serv mgr says hey i'll do it rt now for you and rolled it around the back into the shop..a 20 min. later a mechanic comes out and says all done,we checked for fault codes too and installed the latest update to the ecm from calibration id # 32935-08d to 32935-08e..my question is this ... he was unaware that i had just installed the pc-v ...do i need to reinstall my map to the pc-v or no?..he also found "historic" codes p0131 and p0151,witch aparently translate to both oxy sensors low/lean??

your map should be fine... It is easy enough to re-load or compare to your base map.

Pull your plugs and see if they show any indications on running lean.

Did you change your Air Cleaner?

Your map is fine. What they did has nothing to do with PCV. They hook up to a small connector on the bike, not the big ECM plug that PC uses.

From what FuelMoto told me you need to tell them if you get an ECM update it will affect your map.

I wouldn't do it as a permanent solution, as the configuration of the two ECM's are different. If you bought the PCV from Fuel Moto give them a call for a more definitive answer to this question, but I think in general you would be ill-advised to use an '09 map in an '08 or vise versa. I also think this would apply to any two year models.
