Default Opinions on Ness products (floorboards)

I been looking at the new Arlen Ness Deep Cut floorboards and the latch cover. Right now I have the HD Stealth boards and I figured the deep cut latch covers would go well with them. Then I looked at the Deep Cut floorboards. I thought they looked pretty cool.
While I was at an HD dealer today I asked about the Ness boards. He said they haven't had good luck with then and he wouldn't use them. What do you guys think?

$500 for boards to have the chrome peel off is not a good thing.

I am not a huge fan of his stuff either. I only really like the new deep cut boards and latch covers. Other then that I agree that it looks like it belongs on a Victory.

If your looking at spending that kind of money, I think these are the best looking boards around:

Add me to the list of those who are not a big fan of his products. All the stuff I have seen has been overpriced and underbuilt, borders on the cheap side.

In my previous life I had a victory, the quality of his stuff wasn't good, problems with wheels peeling and few other odds and ends. I won't even look when it has his name on it.
