Slash down is my personal preference... Rush slipons is what I currently have on the bike.

I concur.......as you don't see many with the bologna / slash-out cuts.
You do see plenty of slash-up, slash-down, and straight cut rounds.

But this wasn't one of his options......oh well

They all look good. I still don't know what I like best. I'm thinking maybe V&H twin slash rounds or the basic 4". but i also like the look of the Bassani 4" cut with the bag. What a tough choice.

Went with slash down, but with these end-caps, you can have down, up or out.

Man, all this talking about up & down is making me horny...;-)

Seriously, my preference would be slash up - agree w/others on how they flow w/bags. Either looks good, but it's just my preference.

Yes the slashup follow the saddlebags but I went with the slashdown because the slashdowns follow the bikes lines right down to the back wheel. The whole look flows better. You can't go wrong with either way.Personal preference.

I have Klock Werks SS silp ons with the slash up. These mufflers have a rolled edge on them and they look outstanding.
No rust or dirt in the "hole either because I give them a quick rinse when washing. Then I blow the water out of them with the leaf blower.

Slash up for me. I just think they follow the lines of the bike and saddle bags much better.
