Default Loosing air preasure in rear suspension.

I'm not sure how to fix it, I figure I'll soap and water the connections and valve then pump it up and see where the leak is.
I don't really know much about the connectors, the manual is pretty vauge.
Do you just recut the air lines and reinsert them?
What do you use to cut them?
Should I put some type of sealer and what would it be?
Any help from folks with experience with this would be appreciated!

How quickly do you lose pressure? All of them "bleed off" air over time.

Your pressure goes to 0 in 24 hours? If so, take it to the dealer, or replace the shocks with Progressive Heavy Duty stock length units. I have several friends that swear by them. I wouldn't start hacking away material.

My bike is 3 months old and it will leak down to 18 PSI and then stop. My metric buddies would tell me it's HD $hit but they all shut up when they saw the SHOWA sticker on the shocks. good for a laugh

I had mine off and one of the ends looked ugly and would not go into the shock well. So I just took plain old scissors and snipped off about 1/8 inch. Worked like a charm and it reinserted perfectly.

I prefer to cut them with a new razor knife blade. You get a nice clean cut, and don't distort the shape of the tubing. Make sure they are pushed in tight.

I think thats a good start, once you find the leak you will have a better Idea how or what to fix. Might just be a loose schrader valve.

Thats funny, my wife was complaining about the ride the other day so we went and bought a pump/guage from HD and low and behold it was down to 18#
