Anyone make a luggage rack that attaches to the backrest bar? I have a FBI detachable backrest kit (ALOT cleaner then HD) and i'm thinking about getting a bag for my backrest for overnight 2 up trips. I'm wondering if anyone makes a rack that attaches directly to the backrest so i don't have to go out and buy the HD 4 point mount and get rid of the FBI kit that i really like. I saw something in the MOCO catalog (#53011-98) but it says its for 08 and older bikes.

 

Try looking at motherwellproducts.com Itz what I got after switching out my fender and not liking the way the stealth rack looked.

I'm looking for the exact same thing for the same reason (have FBI brackets).
I've got a 2009 Road King and haven't found anything for it yet...

 

sounds like you and me gotta start putting some heat on someone to make one of these... I mean the new frame is coming into its 3rd year..catch up guys!.. I even checked Kury (not a huge fan) and they had nothing... I sent an e-mail today to thie Motherwell Products.. i'll let yuo know what i hear.


p.s. how sweet is the FBI kit.. i actuall bought the HD kit and returned it 2 days later after seeing the FBI kit online....

 

Same here. Have a 2010 RKC and the FBI kit, and I'd love a luggage rack.

 

Just ordered the FBI kit yesterday for attaching the detachable luggage rack. Just for my solo setup. Hoping with the Kury Grantour bag I can score a decent backrest out of the deal Brawler seat puts me a ways back, hopefully it's enough.
