I must say, I rode 210 miles Sunday in 100 degree heat and this thing worked pretty well.

and here's a plus:
We stopped for lunch and we all parked under two trees to be in the shade. When we came back out, of course about half of the bikes were now sitting in the sun, mine included. When I sat down, the seat was warm (it was 100 degrees out) but it wasn’t burning like if it had just been the seat in the sun.

I bought the medium size (14 ½” wide) because I had to order it and wasn’t sure how it was gonna fit. But it fits pretty well on my Road Glide seat. If I did it again I would go ahead and buy the Large size (16” wide).

I’d say these seat pads are worth a try, if your *** is burning. I also wear compression shorts, they help a lot also.

They are held on by this elastic strap in the front, that slides over the nose of the seat.
You do not have to remove the seat to put on or take off.

Thanks for the pics TFB. Been thinking of picking one up for the Mustang Solo but wasn't sure if I should go with the Med or Large.

Looks like the Med would fit the Mustang better than the Large one would.

I bought one (L) to go with my Mustang Super Solo with backrest. I would do it again in a heartbeat. There are a few other companies that make similar products that I would like to try, especially since they were cheaper. My wife and I did a trip to the outer banks and smokeys, 3500 all together in 8 days. The first day we did just over 750 miles, and the last day of the trip we did 600 plus. The only time that I had the sweaty a$$ syndrome was during a poor detour I took through Indianapolis, over memorial day weekend (BIG RACE). When we finally made it though the city I could feel the air move and dry my a$$ off, which is great.

Just a review from my experience hope it helps someone.

I Just came back from a 1600 mi ride in 95 deg. heat with a buddy. The circulator pad worked great. Every time we stopped to fuel up I was dry & it looked like my bud was sitting in water. Check e-bay & you might save a few bucks.

Does any know how they compare to real sheepskin or beads, which are much less expensive?

Even with sheepskin I suffered with the butt burn until I got the beadrider setup. I just changed from the wood beads to the ceramic. Won't ride in hot weather without em.

Unhappy

I got a sheepskin from Alaska Leather and a beadrider seat too. Neither seem to help me with butt burn. I will admit that there was a very slight improvement with the beadrider seat though. I am a big guy and am having trouble finding something like Under Armor for me.

The Under Armour® HeatGear® men's compression short delivers the performance you need to take your workout to the next level. It's crafted using the moisture-wicking HeatGear® performance fabric that draws sweat away from your skin to keep you cool and dry.

yep, I would have to agree. Wife says the same about the passenger setup. I only have the wooden beads. Once these wear out, I will buy the ceramic. Hey......those ol' guys know what their talkin' about with the beads.
