GMR is looking very appealing to me as well. Pricing seems to be in line and power/reliability seems to be there.

I received a shipping confirmation today on my HQ107ST from protwin. Be delivered friday. It took the whole 8 weeks for my order, but I also had to wait for cyl and heads to come in since I chose the core purchase option to minimize downtime. Glad it's on the way.

From what I've read and word of mouth both good reputable shop builders. Probably go with T-Man only because he's close to me and a Tarheel !

You purchased the cores from them and it still took eight weeks. Cant imagine how long it would have taken if you would have taken your engine apart and then shipped it to them. Protwin shows the kit as "in stock", that must be a lie.

T-Man is about a 45 min. drive from me but when I get the funds together I think I'm going with the S&S 106 kit and their 551 easy start cams which will do away with the need for CR , something to consider I'm hearing good things about it! If you do a core on the heads they claim 2 week turn around maybe shorter if you have a authorized S&S machine shop close to do yours! http://www.sscycle.com/
