JJSanta- Those Torca Clamps are hell on your hands!! I used a 9/16 wrench and it would turn hard as hell. THink it's tight. Right. Nope! Got the ratchet out and have cranked it down a few times since instal. Good advice for sure!

I am going to a dealer tomorrow to have them put on a Arlen Ness Big Sucker air breather and re-map the bike along with the new B&E Superflows. I figured I may as well step up and spend another $120 (air filter and backing plate) and another $25 in labor along with the re-map for $150 and $25 in labor. This way I will know it's all tuned in.

I asked B&E when their true duals for 07 will be out and he said they are in the works right now. They are to come!
Kdietz- Sorry- no website. You can do a search on Ebay for them though. Also you can email him at bobvicr@aol.com

B&E Theres a link for ya kdietz
I've had them for a few thousand miles now. After putting on the true duals from Fulsac my SE slip ons were just too loud. These are getting a bit louder as I ride but most do. I like the sound alot. Nice and deep.

Bucs; MAKE SURE they check the gasket surface on the back of that Big Sucker, I just put one on my bike and
there were casting nubs almost an 1/8 in. tall, it would have never sealed to my carb properly, I had to file it flat.
I'm very un-impressed with the quality of mfg. of this air cleaner, it's made in china or somewhere, out of pot metal. It does work well though. If I did it over, I would get the Zippers or SE
I've had my 2" B&E's on for 5200 miles now, they do seem to be a bit louder now than when I got them, but I still really like them.
Bob is great to deal with, all the packing blew out of the first set of pipes I got from him, he honored his warranty and sent me a new set with a revised baffle design, you can't beat 'em for around $200.

Kansasroadking- Thanks for the info. I will have them check it out.

Yes, Bob get's right back to you via email from B&E. Ships fast too.

Since I am having the remapping done now with the mufflers and Stage 1 Arlenn Ness Big Sucker. Do you think I will need to have it
remapped again when I add the true duals?

I know on my 05 Deuce (EFI) I had the dealer re-map when I did the Big Radius pipes and Stage 1. Then I swapped to a Kuryakyn air breather (Twin Velocity) about a year later and they said there was NO reason to have them remap unless it was popping or smoking.

I re-dynotuned after I changed from D&D's to HD Touring....I'm going to do it again when I get the B & E's on....my tuner just charges $100 for subsequent dynotunes....not bad for the piece of mind of knowing that it's running at it's best

Bucs012, did you get the 2" or 1-3/4 cores? I'm considering but don't want them to loud for the OL; there could be hell to pay if I screw up. If the 2" are good on the road listening to tunes OK!!! Anyone else with comments on this?

Budz, mine are the 2" Superflows and I have no problems hearing the stereo - I do have Hogtunes speakers though. The wind buffetting from the stock 4" wind deflector interfered with the sound of the stereo 10 times more than the mufflers!

The 2" baffles are not loud at all. At idle it's a little louder then stock 07 pipes (keep in mind they are the loudest stock pipes harley has made) but are still very low. When I am on the hiway doing 55 mph or faster I just hear a low rumble from the B&E 2" Superflows. Not loud at all. The loudest (in my opinion) the B&E's get are when you are riding around in town and TWIST the throttle and get on it a little. They BARK then, but still not super loud. I like the way they sound when your in a higher rpm and let off the throttle. Nice deep tone coming down off the gas. Can come home at night and not **** off the neighbors in any way.

I too have the $100 Hog Tune Speakers. Sound is awsome!
