Default Elite 3 rear yellow dot

I can find the yellow mark on the new front tire I received today, but there are no yellow mark on the rear. Is the lightest part of the tire only marked for the front only?

Thanks
Mark

Should be a mark on the rear tire, usually isn't hard to find. I wonder if the tire is actually even enough that there isn't a "light" side?
You can always mount it and if you don't have to add much weight, go with it. If it is going to take a lot of weight, spin the tire and try again.

I had the same problem with a rear tire I ordered last winter. Couldn't find any dots or marks on it anywhere. Called the supplier, they said it was marked when they shipped it. As mentioned earlier in this post, no big deal, mounted it and then put it on a balancer. Needed too much weight. So marked it, broke it down and spun it 180 degrees. Balanced fine then. Mounted it and have put 3,000 plus miles on it so far w/o a problem.
