Default Timken bearing for and 08 FLHRIC !!

I purchased a pair of 08 RG rims for my 08 Classic and I am in the process of powder coating them. So I need the bearing removing tool, and the Timken bearing # for both rims. ANd I do NOT need the STEALER number!
As I am not going to pay the stealer price......Tenn.Vol.

I put on black powder-coated HD nine-spoke wheels and used a bearing tool set I got from
George's garage on ebay for half the price of moco's, and got some bearing's from Howard
at Motorcycle metal, I think they were Timken he would know.

Take one of the original bearings to your local industrial bearing supply house and they can use the numbers stamped on it to get the proper Timken bearings. I agree with you on your choice of bearings! In my book it's Timken, BCA/Bower, and Torrington in that order for ALL my bearing needs. The rest are junk as far as I'm concerned!

Got 2 of the Harley bearing out, last night. Took it to Norfolk bearing, $8.00 for a
bearing made in China, $20.00 for one made in USA. Go I got the SKF bearing number
6205-2RSH/C3GJN...So I will replace the ones in the back and maybe go with the
oreginal bearingthat came with the RG rims that I picked up a couple mo. ago....
May tomorrow I will get the rear rim to the powder coat.....Tenn.Vol.
