I agree 100 percent. I have learned lots of things here. I did learn early though, that there are two or three who will always respond with a smartass comment. At first, it had me PO'd, but I considered the sources and put them on ignore. I can give you names, but would that really matter?

 

All in All its a great place. I stop by daily! Have learned many things about the new bikes .

 

Amen Capt Itch, I have have been riding 30 years , but i dont know everything and thanks to members here at HD Forums I get to bounce ideas and get others input. have been able to buy some great parts that others didnt want or need anymore and due to some great help I was able to build this trailer.

I made a mistake and said something stupid and got banned for almost a year. I really really missed this place. Was stuck going to Vtwin and there was not anywere near the info as there is here.

 

Yo Captain, just asking here. Where is all of this forum bashing you speak of. I only found one rant from a pinhead that actually thought us touring guys are mature adults (what was he smoking?). I'm 57, married for 37 yrs. and the OL still wonders when I'm going to grow up and act like an adult. I consider it an honor and privilege to be a member of this group. I wear the A-hole badge with pride.

 

What alot of members mistake for bashing is actually constructive dialog. This forum is great. I learned and continue to learn a ton of stuff.

 

I may have never met anyone (in person ) or rode with them or broke bread with them , but I have enjoyed reading the posts (for the most part) !
So, if your unhappy may I be the first to offer to hold the door for you ?

Like what everyone else said, love this forum, plenty of great info. It's members like iClick, PhilM, and Dawg (just to name a few) that have helped me with a lot of maintenance and upgrades on my bike.

I do have to ask John TN one question though.....
If your a volunteer then why is it you are only a "Junior Admin" and what does it take to get a promotion in this place
