Default 07 Touring bikes

I was just wondering does anyone have a 07 Touring with a transmission that is smooth and quiet in 5th gear or are all of them junk.

Junk ? What are you basing that on ? 5th is a straight cut gear and will make noice.

I am basing it on whining, rattling and vibrating in 5th gear. This is my 3rd Harley. I didn't just fall off a Honda Rebel on to a Harley for the first time!

You know I've read that a thousand times.. Wasn't the 5 speed ALL straight cut gears? I don't remember my old bike making this much noise...anyway I don't think my 6 speed is junk regardless...

Never had a Rebel. But after the ride today I am going to do something. I wonder if the new Baker DD6 will fit in a '07 case.

Just picked mine up Friday in Chattanooga. Have about 350 miles on it and have no noise in any gear. I was really concerned as much as I have heard about the noise in fifth. Has se breather, mufflers and stage 1 download, really runs good.
