Default seat ideas for tall rider

I have a 2010 street glide and I am trying to find a comfortable seat that gives me an extra couple inches of leg room since I have a 35" inseam. I installed the extended floor boards and highway pegs which did help. I also tried a friends "tall boy" seat off of his ultra classic but it looked like crap on my bike. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I added a Tallboy to my 09 Street Glide and it was working well until recently I realized the 2 bolts holding the rear metal tab are digging into my fender paint.

You are right it does look like crap!

I will keep an eye on this post to see what others suggest.

I have a 2010 Roadglide and looking for the same thing. I'm reseaching the Danny Gray 2up-XL, C&C Sport Touring, and the Mustang Wide Tripper. I'll probably go with mustang only because I had one before and liked it and it has a back rest.

***SOLD***

I've got a custom made Corbin Tallboy seat for sale in the classifieds.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...s-09-10-a.html

It's made to the same specs as the HD Tallboy seat, 2" further back than stock.

This seat will NOT accept a rider's backrest. Fits touring bikes 09-10.

$300 shipped, with a 3 day return policy. Can't beat that for a quality seat.

Shoot me a PM if interested.

If going solo the Brawler is about as far back/low as you can get. Hard but once you get used to it, it's perfect.

I wanted more room also. Moved boards out and up an inch. I then went with the LePera Maverick, Daddy Long Legs seat, moves your butt back 2" and puts you about 1.5" down. Worked well for me. Not a cushy fluffy seat, but is comfortable and does give some back support. Feels more like your behind the tank, rather than on it. 2 pics on my 09' Ultra and 1 of stock seat and LePera side by side. Sorry for the quality of pics. Might be worth your consideration.

Nate

PS Same seat in my sig pic

If the wife could have tolerated it better I would have kept the C&C Sport Tour I recently bought, put me down and in on the bike; at 6'2" with a 33" inseam it fit the bill for me. I currently use a Mustang Solo with the cushy passenger pillion for the wife, sits me too up and forward but is comfortable; no wife and I would have gone the C&C solo with a passenger pillion for female tag-alongs.

At the risk of sounding negative, what enticed you to buy a bike already slammed down like that? I am 6'1" w/34" inseam, and when I sit on a SG it feels like a mini bike or something. I am also wanting a solution for my Ultra, and am thinking I need a seat not only back 2" (HD TAllboy), but also UP and inch or so, which means cu$tom $eat, which $uck$, if you get my meaning. Not knocking your taste, because the SG's look great, but riding comfort seemed a failure right off the bat when I tried them out. Just curious.
