Default hd hammock seat

Im 6'4" and have a 10 FLHTK
I also had the same problems with the stock seat felt like I was on top of the tank. I did a lot of reading and saw that a lot of shorter folks were complaining about the Hammock seat and not being able to put there feet down. That was the best testament I could find so I bought one and I realy like it. Puts you up and back and inch or two

I am 6'5" and want to be low and back as far as possibe. I have a corbin young guns that does just that and it is great for solo. Wife went and sold Sportster and now wants to ride with me and now I am trying to find something inexpensive that will do the down and back but 2-up and not cost an arm and a leg. Best I can see is to try to find a used newer tall boy for about $200. I know they are hugh and look like crap but would only be using it when she or the kids ride. Only other would be a Lepra Maverick Daddy Long Legs for $427 off of ebay but would have to get it recovered or a C&C seat which would be great and could leave on the bike all the time and sell the Corbin but that seat is about $700 with the back rest and may be able to sell the Corbin for about $200 so about end up with about $500 in the C&C...hell I do not know!!!!!

At 6'5" I really like my Hammock seat...... the biggest difference honestly though was from the Kuryakin floorboard brackets that move the boards up an inch and out an inch as well as a +2" front shift lever

You need to at least call & talk to Chuck @ C&C Seats www.ccseats.com . He's not gonna stear you wrong, if you explain your situation to him & he can't help, he'll tell you if they have nothing that can help you. I think most of their customers on this fourm will agree, you won't be sorry you made the call.

My Wide tripper came in and I installed it right away. The seat looked great, fits tight and like a glove and does not rub on the tank like the stock did (need to buff the paint cause you can see where the old seat was). This seat is very well made. Mustang said it would not sit you back, and it doesn't. Nor did it push me forward any. In my opinion it seats the same as the stock seat. It is a bit narrower so you can flat foot easier (never a problem for me). As for comfort, it is not a touring seat to ride coast to coast. It is far better than the stock seat. I road to work about an hour ride and no problems at all. With the stock seat I had a numb feeling in legs and had to stretch at bit after getting off. I feel that I could easily go 3 to 4 hours on this seat. I think I'll be keeping it. I'll post some pics in a couple of days.

Had the same issue with the stock seat... Installed HD TallBoy seat and its a totally different bike... Can now lean into turns confidentially whereas the stock seat had me doubting my ability because it sat me so close. And I need to buff the tank as well, stock seat left its mark... Looked @ the SunDouwner but liked that the TB pushed me back 2 inches...

+1

I'm 6'5" and very happy with my C&C squareback. I had them move me back 2-3" and have plenty of room now. Great fit, finish, comfort and all around quality. Moving the seat back takes a little passenger space, but not a big problem for most.
