Default loosening torx screws..help

I installed the 4 point anchor for the detectable tour pack and it called for the red lock tite. I also just ordered the frame rail covers. And the docking hardware needs to come off and I can't seem to loosen those torx screws..I'm worried about stripping them.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Heat is the only way, unless you use some chemical, to soften the Red Loctite. A heat gun works best. You'll have to be very careful about the paint.

If I recall, you have to get the threads to 300 or 330 degrees.
A soldering iron might work if it is a larger wattage iron, or heat gun.

I can't imagine why they instruct people to use red locktite when blue works just fine. Unreal. I guess they're afraid it'll come undone and drop your gal on the road somewhere between Toledo and Albuquerque! LOL! Blue is the color I prefer to use...

I recall reading somewhere that nail polish remover will also melt red lactate. I think they also have some stuff that will do it. Go to the lactate web site.

LOL...... I think you might want to use a dictionary from now on...

Sorry.. couldn't resist but he's interested in Loctite... not milk secretion

Never tried it, but would an impact screwdrive loosen a screw with red loctite? I have used them to loosen some really tight screws. If not I think a soldering iron would be the best tool.

I believe lactate will get by a spell checker. A dictionary will work.

Red Lactate almost always bad.
I would use localized heat, and then one of those 'tap' impact hammers that Sears sell (you put a torx socket on it and you are able to apply force + turning to loosen a stuck fastener by striking with a mallet).
