08 UC had the roll up tool kit. I added a few "real" tools, leatherman, mini mag light. Hope I never have to do any major repairs with it though.

As I understand it, touring bikes with fairings come with the roll up tool kit which leaves out the Road Kings. Both my 2007 EG Classic and my 2009 SG came with the roll up kit.

 

My 2010 FLHX came with a roll up kit and manual in one of the bags.

 

My "09 UC came with a canvas roll up tool kit.

 

Yakbow, I like your discription. That is what I'm talking about, the Swiss Army knife version. I need to see if the will swap mine out. What came in the roll?

Harley has only recently discovered tool kits. None of mine have had them, although both my Firebolts had a token kit. BMWs have gone the other way, (I have owned Harleys and BMWs since the 70s) from a comprehensive roll you could barely get a hand round to skinny ones. I now carry a comprehensive kit of my own tools I made up over the years.

 

09 SG, Roll Kit. To me it's just a starter kit. I added a few items that I deemed necessary.
