Default Another Exhaust Question

The older I get the less I enjoy hearing the sound of the pipes. What is the quietest slip on mufflers available for 1 3/4 Tru Dual head pipes. If I could even get the purring sound of a Goldwing I would be very happy.

The stock exhaust is usually very quiet, just like on the Goldwing.

Take a set of stock mufflers and put them on. I'm not sure why you went to a true dual system and want it as quiet as possible but that would do it. Something moderate would be Rush slip ons or SE mufflers. You would have to check fitment though.

Rush offers a 1 3/4" baffle which is about the same as stock and a 1 1/2" which is quieter still.

I have Wild Pig mufflers with the 1.75 baffles. Wife says not overly loud with her riding with me.

I just bought the V&H twin slash slip-ons. Like you, my older ears don't need anymore hearing loss. The sound is there when needed, but pleasant enough while cruising. Also, great price and quality for the money. Very happy

Freedom Performance makes some nice slip-ons that will still provide a nice throaty sound but not blast your ear drums.

If you want quite, then the stock exhaust is going to be the ticket. From there I would look at the SE performance touring mufflers. They will be second quietest. From there, you go the fuel moto or rush route for the next level.

Another vote for stock mufflers. Look around on ebay, should be plenty to choose from.

UHHHHH my 1.75 RUSH mufflers are way louder than the stock ones.
