Default Rebuild-a-bagger

After a few months of work and who knows how much money, I finally completed this transformation. In 98 my father bought this 99 ultra, and after 10 years of riding the 'same old bike' it was time to update to an 09. After riding the 99 as it was last year, we decided it was time to do some upgrading and modifying.

So we started here..

removed the tour pak and light rails

then the fun began

The bike is now lowered front and rear progressive 412's and lowering springs with amsoil fork fluid...what a difference in handling and ride..very happy with this set up. While we had the front end apart I installed a chrome front end.
I ditched the stock handlebars for a set of KW Ergo up bars that I am also very impressed with. Along with a set of PM renthal grips.

The motor went from the stock 88 to a 95 gear drive with andrews 54hg, SE forged high comp pistons, pushrods, and lifters, bigboyz headwork and a tts mastertune, just waiting to decide on a 2-1 exhaust that I can't make up my mind on.

I pulled the front passing lamps and turn signals off, installed the new style headlamp added biketronics wing tip led turn signals and also changed the gauge lights to green...looks very cool at night.

Finished looking something like this, with dad's bike next to it

I have more pictures somewhere just have been too busy riding it!

thanks for checking it out, any comments and questions appreciated, I also have take-off parts forsale including the corbin seat on the bike in the pictures

I also have stock rear shocks and front springs, 09 stock antennas, rear support bar for tourpak, pillow look seat, trailer hitch with harness (like new used twice), front cans and fork lowers, passing lamp and turn signal assembly. pm with any offers
