Touring Exhaust?

Touring Exhaust?
I recently bought a TTS tuner and am doing a Stage 1 (pipes/filter) kinda upgrade on a 2010 RK. I do a lot of touring and am looking for slip-ons that add performance but are not too loud. HD has some 4" touring slip-ons with interchangeable tips. Supertrapp has some 3.5" touring slip-ons (formerly sold by HD as SE touring slip-ons) with interchangeable tips.
Anyone out there have experience with either of these two options and can weigh in on which might be better?
Thanks!

After switching my silencer/baffle out to a SuperTrapp last weekend, I'm a huge fan now. I cannot believe the seemingly more restrictive and quieter SuperTrapp actually improved the performance of my bike.
SuperTrapp claims a 10 to 12 hp gain with their new exhaust and only 3 decibels over a stock Harley. Looks like a win win to me.

I went with B&E Superflows. They are the stock touring mufflers with different baffles. I got the 1.75" and love them. Not to mention the fact that they were very low cost. I have been running them for two years and have had no issues. Not to loud but sounds like a harley. Here is a link.

I have HD's 4" touring mufflers, for *me* they are just right. They are definitely throatier than the stock mufflers, I wouldn't want any louder. Hard to believe they're 50 state street legal on my 2009, but they are stamped as such. I wanted this as more and more cities are checking. K&N makes a great intake kit for the 09-10's that'll open it up more than any slip-ons. It maintains the same air cleaner cover and its location so it doesn't crowd your knee. Auto Zone can get them in a day and at the best price I found.

If you don't like anything much louder than stock, a set of Screamin' Eagle may be the ticket. I love the SE 4" slip-on's I installed on my '09 Ultra Classic. I only wished they were a bit louder but I can get use to them like they are. I've got a pair of Slash-Cut tips on order for mine. These you see on my scoot were take-offs from an '09 Screamin' Eagle Road Glide.

I am running Modified stock mufflers I bought on Ebay from a guy in Kentuky (jag-performance).
They did add some power but for me the difference in the sound is perfect.
Just slightly louder at idle and cruise, they growl nicely when I roll the throttle and bark like a big dog when I crack it.
Just right for me and because they are stock on the outside I doubt I will ever get hasselled by the noise police.
