If George asked $199 for them it would be worth it. Compared to the Kuryakyn orption there is no comparison, plus George is one of the most stand up guys you can deal with. I've been running mine for three years, not a single issue. I've seen several Kurys break on friend's bikes in this time, they have since all switched and are very satisfied.

What's the story on this kit? I'm new to the tour Pak world, just got a 2010 EGC and the only thing I know is the dealer wanted over $700 to put a detach kit on. Is the GA a det. kit or relocating kit? Do you still use HD hardware? Thanks

It moves the tp back 2.5". It doesn't help you if you want to detach it.

frog....I'm not complaining a bit. I just chuckled a little seeing as how I am always a day late to get a deal.

It's a relocating kit, if you want it detachable you still need the HD hardware. Mine's an '08 and unless things have changed drastically that is way more than I paid for my detachable kit.

All I can do is echo all the others with a positive review for the George Anderson tour pack relocator kit.

I called Mr. Anderson last Thursday, he shipped it Friday and I got it Priority Mail today, Tuesday. The install took me less than one beer and was a breeze as many have said. That's funny because if it can be messed up I can do it.

Took the wife out for a short ride to get her impressions and she was happy. We will see how our next long ride goes.

Great product, and yeah... George is an awesome Dude! He shipped mine to Alaska "no additional charge". Price these days is $175. Money well spent.

It's definitely $175- I just spoke with him down in Florida, and ordered one about 4 hours ago.

A nice man for sure. I told him he was a celebrity on all the HD forums- he said everyone tells him to get on line with his product, but he says by doing on line orders, he wouldn't get to talk to people, so he'll just continue to do it the old fashion way.

When I said I was from Canada, he kind of cringed for a second, and said to make sure I don't send him a check in Cdn funds...no probs, since I'll be sending him a bank draft in US funds, but he said someone did that to him recently, and it cost him a few backs to exchange into US. Just a reminder for all my Canadian friends to make sure you send him US $.
